Resource Financial Planning does not take custody of your assets. We use third-party custodians to protect your assets and ensure they are owned by you, not us. Brokerage accounts have SIPC (Securities Investor Protection Corporation) insurance up to established limits. This, of course, does not protect your assets from the volatility of investments.
We offer in-office meetings, virtual meetings, and phone appointments. We are here to make things convenient for you.
Typically, we will meet annually to review your strategy. However, life circumstances and action items may warrant more frequent meetings. We are here to help you navigate your financial life as it evolves.
Investments are a tool used to achieve a specific outcome. We design investment portfolios geared towards your goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon. Our portfolios focus on things we can control such as diversification, asset allocation, taxes, and costs. We focus on long-term results, while minimizing risks.
For most situations, we charge as a percentage of assets under management. There are breakpoints when a client reaches certain assets levels that may reduce the overall percentage amount. We also offer flat fee financial planning. In certain circumstances, other arrangements may apply.
