Complete Financial Management Workshop

This recently updated three-night course has been developed to help you learn more about financial management. It is designed to help give you the tools necessary to make more informed decisions regarding your financial future.

This course includes the information you need to help improve your investment potential, potentially reduce your financial risk, prepare for retirement and preserve your estate for your heirs. You'll also find out how to fight the long-term effects of inflation, avoid potential unnecessary taxes, and protect yourself from the potentially devastating costs associated with long-term care expenses.

Teen Finances

This summer we are once again holding a money management class for teens at the Portland Community College Sylvania campus.

We incorporate all aspects of personal finance to provide teens with the foundation needed to make informed financial decisions. Topics include savings, budgeting, what is credit, investing, risk management and entrepreneurship. For ages 12-17. See below for details:

Hop to Financial Independence (ages 21 to 35)

In addition to the teen class, we are adding a much requested one-night class for those new to finances, specifically geared towards those ages 21-35.  Feel free to bring your friends.  We will focus on:

  • How to prep financially when changing jobs
  • Tackling the high cost of student loan debt
  • What to do now to be financially independent later
  • Credit cards and building your credit score
  • Manage your spending and the best way to budget
  • Retirement planning: Contributing to Roth IRA vs. Trad IRA
